RAN Engineer
The successful individual will be responsible for delivering, and supporting 5G RF Network planning, optimization/troubleshooting and rollout process for DA US Networks.

Main Purpose of the Job:
RAN Engineer is a technical role within our RAN Engineering team, based in USA. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering, and supporting 5G RF Network planning, optimization/troubleshooting and rollout process for DA US Networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform link budget analysis, design criteria, coverage & traffic/capacity analysis
- RF network design and planning development activities using and enhancing Dense Air small cell planning methodologies and toolsets
- Provide support for POCs with various customers
- Analyze KPIs and performance data for various DA networks in US
- Troubleshoot field network issue by engaging other operations team
- Ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drive test data for model calibration
- Working with internal stakeholders
- Other duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned from time to time by the Organization
Education and Experience:
- At least 7 years’ experience in 4G/5G RAN planning and optimization with US carrier.
- Any experience with 5G SA /ORAN especially ORAN planning valuable
- Knowledge of CBRS/shared spectrum valuable
- Detailed knowledge and experience of RAN rollout lifecycle
- Experience in strategies, planning and execution process development for radio networks
- Experience working with jurisdictions for planning, zoning and permitting.
- Experience with network planning tools such as ATOLL, Planet etc
- Experience with data collection tools such as TEMS, XCAL, QXDM etc.
- Any experience of transport network planning valuable
- Suitable Engineering degree
